FAMILY & SPORT day
Sunday, 3 August is family and sports day of the festival, that includes a broad children, sports and cultural programme as well as other educational and recreational activities for families. For example, it will be possible to touch a specific kinetic sand, make sand art, learn traditional Israeli dances, learn how to do something nice together with the clowns from “Dream Doctors” (Israel) and “Dr.Klauns” (Latvia) charitable organizations, enjoy inflatable attractions, take part in creative workshops, etc. Daytime programme offers a variety of recreational and educational facilities for the entire family.
Specific activities will take place in the sports area and will be announced separately.

Activities in the sports area take place every day of the festival from 12:00 to 20:00.
Come to the sports area, register, and enjoy the game.
· Matkot game in the sports area and all of the festival territory. Sport, without which it is hard to imagine today’s Tel Aviv beach. It is a game with rackets, where everybody is a winner.
· Beach volleyball . Tournament and games for the guests of the festival.
· Beach football . Games for the guests of the festival, tournament.
· Beach Tennis . Games for the guests of the festival.
* Chess and checkers at a quiet area of “Chill Expo”.
Children and family programme
12:00 – 20:00
· “Dr.Klauns” – educational activities for children and adults;
· “Dream Doctors” (Nimrod Eisenberg, Yaron Sancho) – educational and creative activities for children and adults at the children area, the festival area and on the big stage;
· kinetic sand workshops for children (“RiGame”);
· children's inflatable attractions.
Seminars about Jewish culture for children ages 5 to 13

Each day of the festival practical seminars for children will be provided with co-operation of the Jewish Agency “Sohnut” (01.08.2014., 02.08.2014., 03.08.2014.):

13:30 – 14:30 Seminar “The Hebrew symbols”;
15:00 – 16:00 Seminar “The different Israel” (geography, flora, fauna, history).
Tour guide programme on the festival territory
12:00 – 18:00
Two professional guides – Boris Brestovitsky (in collaboration with “Rejwan Travel Service”) and Leonid Glanc (in collaboration with “METROCLUB Tours & Vacations”) will offer tours of the festival territory every day of the festival. Following a special tour programme the guests of the festival will have an opportunity to discover Israeli culture and world-famous people with ties to Latvia.

The festival tour programme and guided excursions take place in cooperation with Žanis Lipke Memorial Museum, located near the territory of the festival.
Tal Peleg’s stage makeup art workshop (only 2 August)
12:00 – 18:00
Israeli makeup artist Tal Peleg’s workshop and master classes. The Israeli artist Tal Peleg paints on the eyelids and creates amazingly detailed drawings. She uses only eyeliner and eye shadow in order to paint the eyelids, inspired by fairy tales, movies, food and her own emotions. Her particular talent for make-up has made Tal world-famous. Sheila Eizensharf’s Israeli dance master class (1 and 3 August)
13:00 – 13:30
Israeli dance master class will be led by Sheila Eizensharf and open to anyone. Sheila is a member of an Israeli dance group “Eilat” and an Israeli dance teacher, the manager of the project “Rikudei Am For the Whole Family” that offers young parents with small children to learn Israeli dancing. Sheila has participated in the annual Jewish Dance Festival for the Baltic Region “Inbal” and "Machol Europa Summer Course" organized by the Israeli Dance Institute. She also serves as a volunteer for the Riga Jewish Community.
SHOPPING AREA AND BEACH CAFÉ “Pludmale”

Festival market will be open every day of the festival, and it will be possible to purchase, try out and find out about the diverse merchandise from Israel and Latvia. For example, Israeli cosmetics, designer items, jewellery, etc. Both, tourism and business day as well as fashion and culinary arts day will have special offers and at the market as well as on the festival territory. The festival guests will have an opportunity to purchase travel packages to various destinations in Israel. There will also be presentations, competitions, etc.
A special festival atmosphere awaits at the “Pludmale” cafe, which will remain open at the Ķīpsala beach even after the festival.
A variety of activities will be offered by the festival partners: “Air Baltic”, “Rejwan Travel Service”, “METROCLUB Tours and Vacations”, “Novatours”, “SANO”, “Dead Sea Premier”, “Dzintars”, “IDW Esperanza Resort” etc.
“Israeli Film Week”. Cinema gallery “K.Suns”

Israeli Film Week will be held from 25 July to 31 July with cooperation of the “K.Suns” cinema gallery, featuring 14 popular and critically acclaimed films. They have garnered high praise during Israeli and European film festivals and represent Israeli culture, traditions, history and society. Tickets will be available at the box office.

Benefit Concert at the Children's Clinical University Hospital

Benefit concert at the Children's Clinical University Hospital with participation of the charitable organization “Dr.Klauns” and Israeli singer Tal Kravitz.
Clown doctors of the “Dr.Klauns” organization help to prepare children to endure physically and emotionally painful treatment process at the hospital. These doctors do not have medical education, but they have great acting and communication skills for working with children. They play different games and use therapy techniques to help children cope with anxiety and, just like regular clowns, make everyday life more fun. Clown doctor movement is a global public charity that was started in the U.S. in 1986. Photo artist Ziva Koren’s exhibition “Tel Aviv Moments” in Daugavpils
Photo artist Ziv Koren’s exhibition “Tel Aviv moments”will be held at the Daugavpils “Renesanse” theatre lobby (Vienības iela 30) from 18 July to 4 August. The exhibition can be viewed every weekday from 10:00 to 17:00.
